Hale 'opio kaua'i. is a 501 (c)(3) organization.  Donations are tax deductible.

Independent Living Program

Youth 17 to 22 who lack the attitudes, skills, and resources for independent living are provided a safe, family-like community-based setting and services that enable the youth to gain the necessary skills to successfully transition into a more permanent living situation.  The goal of the program is for the youth to remain in a stable living situation, increase their grades/performance in an educational, vocational, or work program, and remain arrest-free.
