Crisis Stabilization Services

In partnership with Mokihana, and as part of Kauai’s mental health services system for children and adolescents, Hale ‘Opio provides stabilization safe beds for youth who have been assessed to be in significant emotional crisis, i.e., suicidal/homicidal ideation, threats, or gestures requiring immediate intervention but not hospitalization.  Hale ‘Opio provides 24-hour availability, monitoring, and support in the least restrictive setting.
